Reuben - Racecar is Racecar Backwards

After many a moan from their various fans that also happen to be my friends, I gave in to temptation and bought this album expecting to be instantly hearing the best album of the year. That doesn't happen.  For me the album is a grower despite having standouts like 'lets stop hanging out', 'Freddy Kreuger' and 'Stuck In My Throat'. Reuben don't fall into the trap of other bands and don't over polish the album.  This eventually works in their favour and does end up with this being an album of the year contender. 9/10
