My New Hoffman Rhythm |
Is always good when you order a new bike one day and it arrives bright and early on the next...
After a few hours of shouting, screaming and crying I eventually set it up, mmm it's a handsome creature:
·
Rhythm 20" frame w/Cro-mo top tube and down tube - a little shorter
than I'm used to but feels ok.
·
Hoffman 100% Cro-mo forks w/2pc steerer - very nice feeling forks, hope I
don't kill them too quick.
·
Hoffman 2pc Steel bars. Nice size-same again we'll see how these
hold up
·
Cro-mo 1pc cranks, 175mm-i hate these thinks, I've got a set of primos on
there way
·
Tektro 907 rear brake - marvellous
·
Steel 36h front hub w/14mm Cro-mo axle -adequate
·
Alloy 36h front hub w/14mm Cro-mo axle-same again
·
Jalco high-profile single-walled 36h rims - soon to be replaced by some
new sun bfr's.. But they haven't buckled yet after 2 days, thats unusual for
me
·
Hoffman Print 39T sprocket - I'm ready to shop for a new thicker better
looking one...
·
Dicta 14T freewheel - ....ok...I guess
·
Duro Street/Dirt 1.95" front tyre
·
Hoffman Skidmark 1.95" rear tyre - ....ooh very nice
·
Hoffman steel seatpost - needs to be replaced but it'll do for a few
weeks
·
Hoffman embossed seat - big n comfy
·
Wellgo alloy pedals - thrown away straight outta the box-silly
things
·
SST Oryg - silly things but required
That's about it ....I've spent a little over £150 on new parts to tart up my very reasonable £170 complete bike, this is a very good deal in my book........I've been out and about for a couple of days showing it the ropes and it's responding very nicely......Hoffman Rhythm, money well spent!
